lol not really i just used cloud images and sized them down to look realistic, i selected the color range so i get just the cloud and look at [link] the have good textures for everything! a great way to get brushes of any type resources is to go into a group and look in their folders to see if it says resources of tuts. they helped me out a lot.

yea just google some space brushes could be stars dust, here are some links that could help:

Software;
best fractal out there (in my POV) Apophysis.org
Painting could be MyPaint or PaintTool SAI they are one of the greatest one out there if you cant afford PS
for Terraspace you can use Terragen ([link])
for 3D modeling i would use Blender ( in my POV i hate it! lol worst learning interface ever, but hey its free!)
